Click here for the complete Harbour Watch Pool Rules.

They're always available on the Documents page of the website.

Please familiarize yourself with these and ensure that any of your guests are aware of and follow these rules.

We want to highlight a couple of particularly critical rules as violations of these can result in DHEC revoking our pool permit and permanently closing our pool.

  • There is no swimming after sunset. Sunset is not subject to interpretation; it is a specific time which varies daily and can be found on any weather app.
  • No glass or any breakable dish/serving ware is permitted anywhere within the fenced area.
  • Spills of blood or any other bodily fluids in the pool can require emptying the pool and responsible owners will be charged for the cost of refilling the pool.

Thank you for your patience during the delay while this important work to maintain a key amenity for the community was completed.

To Harbour Watch Homeowners

As approved by the Board of Directors the ASC compliance time frame has been established as follows:

Protocol for ASC Guidelines by Homeowners

As of March 1, 2025, and ending May 1, 2025, homeowners will be required to inspect their property to ascertain if they are in compliance with the ASC Rules and Guidelines.

Any adjustments or corrections are to be made by May 1, 2025.

At the end of this time period homeowners that are not in compliance will receive a letter indicating the issue and will have a 15 day grace period to correct.

If at the end of the grace period the matter has not been addressed the BOD will address the matter directly with homeowner and course of action will be determined at that time.

If homeowners have concerns or questions please email the ASC for clarification.

The compliance will be focused on Section VIII of the ASC Rules and Guidelines approved 2/8/2025.

However, due to the constant issue of the deer, areas that pertain to quantity/size of plantings will not be a consideration. i.e., foundation plants, plantings around a/c - generator units.

This process is a one-time reset for all of us to examine and comply in order that we as a community retain the high standards and aesthetics of Harbour Watch.

We extend our thanks to everyone for your assistance and involvement in this matter.

--Reminder--

Any changes to the exterior of your home and lot require ASC written approval prior to beginning the project.

Examples include, but are not limited to: color of house, color of front door, planting or removing trees, major landscaping changes, adding a new roof or fences, etc.

Please reference sections 1.5 and 1.7 of the ASC Rules and Guidelines for the exact items requiring approval.

The Board and ASC continue to work together on delineating the ASC Rules and Guidelines from the Harbour Watch POA Rules and Regulations. More information is forthcoming in the near future. Thank you for your patience.
